| Classical notation | Symbols listed adjacently, added left to right. |
| Multiplier notation | A coefficient and the π operator combined with a symbol. |
| Compressed notation | The shortest form using a decimal coefficient on the largest fitting symbol. |
| SI form | Standard SI prefix attached to E (e.g. GE, TE). |
| Mixed notation | An expression combining several Muskonometry forms joined by +. |
